Watercolor Collage
I moved to Burlington, VT in October, 2022 and rented a room which required me to adapt my creative practice to smaller quarters. Out of this environment emerged a new (to me) style: cutting up past watercolor and ink paintings and assembling/gluing them into minimal abstract collages. A few years prior I went through an “ugly” art phase, disliking everything I was creating and frequently tearing it up. Collage gave me a second chance.
