Trash Collage

In the spring and Summer of 2025, I returned to my hometown on San Juan Island to connect with family, regroup, and prepare for my Seattle move. I would often accompany my mother Shannon to the beach on her daily Salish Sea swims in which I collected colorful bits of discarded trash and plastic to transform into abstract collages. A future goal is to evolve into “Trashion Fashion”, designing, constructing, and upcycling resourced materials into wearable art.
