Fairy Fashion + Abstract Ephemeral Collage

I began creating Fairy Fashions when I was about 9 years old by gathering leaves and petals, assembling them into outfits and taping them to pieces of paper. In time, my dad helped me photograph and reproduce them as cards which I then sold at the annual San Juan Island studio tour. Fast forward 20 years and I’m back to collecting smoke bush, rose petals, lichen, sea glass, orange peels and more to re-imagine my childhood fantasy of designing for the fae.
