One of my favorite aspects of being an artist is less about what I create and more about what I notice. I’m drawn to quiet in-between moments, abstraction, decay, and the quirky juxtaposition of everyday objects combined with the majesty of nature. I sometimes schedule photo walks into my days that activate my eye for detail while simultaneously becoming meditative. These images were taken on the Oregon Coast, Vermont, Los Angeles, CA, Portland, OR and San Juan Island, WA.
